Kruger Safari – Afternoon Half Day

Mpumalanga

Activity Description

Our luxury open safari vehicle will collect guests from their accommodation in Hazyview at approximately 1:00 p.m. before making our way to the Phabeni Gate of the Kruger National Park. Guests also have the option of meeting us directly at the gate.

Spend 5–6 hours (depending on the season) exploring Africa’s premier wildlife destination as we venture into the wilderness in search of the park’s incredible wildlife. As the heat of the day subsides, many animals become more active, providing excellent opportunities for memorable sightings.

We will stop once during the safari at a rest camp where guests may enjoy refreshments, browse local curios or simply stretch their legs. Meals and refreshments are for guests’ own account unless prior arrangements have been made. Bottled water is provided.

Keep an eye out for the legendary Big Five, while also searching for other fascinating species such as cheetahs, African wild dogs, hyenas and a variety of birdlife. The late afternoon light offers spectacular photographic opportunities and a unique atmosphere that makes Kruger so special.

As the sun begins to set, we slowly make our way towards the exit gate before returning guests to their accommodation in Hazyview or dropping them off at Phabeni Gate.

Whether it is your first visit to Kruger or one of many, an afternoon safari offers a relaxed yet rewarding experience and a wonderful introduction to South Africa’s wildlife.
