Kruger Safari - Full Day

Mpumalanga

Activity Description

Our luxury open safari vehicle will pick up guests from their accommodation in Hazyview at 5:00 a.m. (October to March) and at 5:30 a.m. (from April to September).
We’ll proceed to the Phabeni entry gate to The Kruger National Park. You also have the option to be met at this gate.

Enjoy a full day safari and tour of 10 hours as we go out in search of the park’s most magnificent animals, pride of the African savannah.
We stop for breakfast and lunch – approximately 1 hour per stop. Meals are for the guests’ account, unless pre-arrangements have been made with us.
Bottled water is supplied.

Maximise your viewing with us as we endeavour to help you spot all the animals you’ve got on your sightings list. We’ll stop at picnic spots during the drive, giving you a chance to rejuvenate the senses for more to come. There’s also the chance to purchase curios and mementos at these rest stops.

Look out for the famed Big 5, but we’ll also be on the hunt to spot other wildlife curiosities, like the cheetah and the African wild dog!

After the drive, we exit the park. Guests will be dropped off at their accommodation or at Phabeni gate. We’ll leave you with the experience of a lifetime and bid farewell in the hope to meet again!

Customer Reviews

Our guide was Tevin. One day before I received a message to confirm my meeting location. I wish getyourguide would show Legend Safaris phone number and name a bit more present. They picked me up, registered our names and passport, paid the entrance fee and started at 5:30. Especially in the morning you find most of the animals being active. We even found as one of the first a leopard, because our house was constantly in contact with other guides to share locations of the animals. Tevin was a fun guy and knew everything and didn't need map. He speaks perfectly and was overall a great guide. - Ha

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Our tour guide, Strength, was very informative and entertaining! Would definitely recommend him and this tour to anyone! - Jacie

Excellent experience, I highly recommend - Mohammadine

We booked a full day game drive and Bradley our guide picked us up at 5:30am. He asked what our expectations were and we all said "To see the Big 5 but mainly Lions" and he said "It's not guaranteed, but he'll try" Bradley is very knowledgeable and took his time to explain and talk about each animal in detail. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw the Big 5 which was an amazing and unforgettable experience. We saw, Lions, Leopards, Cheetah, Elephants, Giraffe, wild dog, wildebeest, zebra, impala, wort dogs, hyenas and more. Thanks to Bradley. We would highly recommend Bradley and Legend Safaris for your next Kruger Park game drive. - Dean

The safari was amazing! We had an incredible guide with 19 years of experience---nothing was too much to ask of him! This was our first safari in South Africa, and we learned so much from it. He provided excellent explanations about the nature, animals, and more. He was in contact with other guides, which gave us the rare opportunity to see a leopard twice! A few minor downsides: the organization offers different packages (with/without breakfast/lunch, with/without entrance fee), which led to delays. During lunch, we lost half an hour due to billing for the different packages and another half hour because of slow service at the lunch spot. - Wendy
